So recently I collaborated with @Rodialskincare to try out some of their amazing luxury products. First off, a little about the brand; Rodial was founded in 1999 in the U.K. and is known for their high-performance luxury skincare essentials. All of their products contain their namesake Pomegranate Ellagic Tannin which naturally helps to firm the skin and boost collagen production revealing a more youthful complexion. Rodial continues to lead the beauty industry with the introduction of a revolutionary sculpting app. The first of its kind, the RodialSculpt app gives customers a bespoke guide to recreate the Rodial contoured look at-home. Pretty snazzy huh?! Give me a good contour powder and I’m all for the #Slayage.
Which brings me to my first product, their InstaGlam Compact Deluxe Contouring Powder. Now, what I really love about this powder is that the quality is so amazing, even though it is in the shade “DARK” being as paleish as I am, I can still contour perfectly with this. It goes on lightly little by little so that you can gradually build up a good contour without having harsh lines instantly on your face and figuring out how you will blend it out evenly. I actually bought a foundation earlier last week that was a good 3 shades lighter so I tried using this contour powder to darken my entire face a little and it worked splendidly! This contour powder is definitely a soft, high-pigment powder with very effective blend ability which obviously is amazing especially if you’re looking to create shadows for a sculpted a-list finish. This contour powder also has a slight reddish undertone. In combination to the contouring powder, I received their signature “Powder Brush”. You can tell this brush is really amazing quality. Its super lightweight and smooth. The brush hairs are super silky soft and tightly packed so that you won’t get any loose hairs falling out of the brush – the most annoying thing ever! It has a full rounded shape designed to deliver just the right amount of powder to your face. I absolutely LOVE using this brush for an all over powder and for blending and buffing all powder formulas for that ultra-polished ‘photo-ready’ finish.
